Play with color, shape and texture with
my infinity cowl
Sieden Prairie.
Broad and sweeping the open plains of my native
Illinois have always appealed to me, with its wide flat expanses dotted with tree lines
and, of course, farmer's fields. The solids and stripes of this cowl pay homage to
this land and the doubled fabric protects from the long, cold Illinois winters.
The cacophony of varied terrain, changing seasons and a
horizon that is always far off spoke to me when I picked up my needles, I used my Sandrasingh
1 Ply Merino Worsted
and a variety of knitting techniques including knitting in the round, simple lace, ribbing and
stranded colorwork.
Sieden
Prairie is knit in the round as a tube, this double fabric will keep you warm in even the harshest of winters, and the ends are kitchnered
together.
