Rainshadow by Sivia Harding is
worked lengthwise in garter stitch in two colors and it's a
beautifully rhythmic knit. Little short-rowed color insets adorn one
side of the ramís horn shape, while stripes and eyelets wind their
way up and around the long curve. Shaping is accomplished with a
combination of short rows and judiciously placed decreases. Beads
are placed with the crochet hook add-as-you-go method.
800 yards fingering shown in Madetosh Tosh Merino Light. Pattern
requires two colors, one 400 yard skein of each color.
