by RosyPosy Designs is a
set of 3 patterns: worsted and chunky hats and a worsted cowl.
“MUST a name mean something?” Alice asked
“Of course it must,” Humpty Dumpty said with a short
laugh: “MY name means the shape I am--and a good handsome shape it is, too.
With a name like yours, you might be any shape, almost.”
--Through the Looking Glass, by Lewis
This trio of handsome, textured accessories is named after
the “Pier-Glass” pattern from Barbara Walker’s A Second Treasury of Knitting
Patterns. A pier glass is a tall mirror put on a wall between two windows,
often with shape and design to match the windows. Undulating diamonds
reminiscent of framed mirrors decorate these fun knits.
