Ambah O'Brien's
Kinta is a light
shawlette, knit in a fingering weight yarn and
features an easy-to-memorize eyelet mesh stitch pattern. Worked from the bottom
up, Kinta is V shaped with slightly angled ends. Kinta looks great in either a solid or multi colorway and the pattern includes 2 sizes.
MATERIALS:
Yarn: 3ply/light fingering weight yarn; Small approx 440 yards, Large approx 800 yards
Shown in Malabrigo Sock (440 yards/402
meters, 100 grams/3.53 ouces) Ochre
Needles & Notions: 3.75mm/US 5 circular needles 29”/80cm
length to hold all the stitches & Tapestry needle to weave in ends.
GAUGE: 24 stitches and 42 rows = 4 inches in Stockinette
Stitch
Gauge is not important for this project, difference in
gauge may result in varied yarn requirements.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Width at center x Length measured across bottom edge Small: 10" x 80" Large: 12" x 90"
