Use double-knitting (itís not that hard, really!) to
create Laura Aylor's cushy, 2-sided color block scarf Vice Versa.
Any worsted yarn in 2 colors will work, but the long color runs in Kureyon
and Silk Garden make for an interesting and slightly unpredictable knit and
a head-turning finished object.
Skills required: knitting, purling, slipping stitches,
knit-2-together. If youíve never tried double-knitting, no worries! Just
follow directions carefully for a few repeats and youíll get the hang of it!
Requires 4 skeins of Kureyon
skeins of Silk Garden or
2 skeins of Kureyon and 1 skein of Cascade 220 Wool.
Yarn: 400 yards Aran or Worsted
Needles: US 8 (5.0mm)
Gauge: 16 stitches and 21 rows = 4" in double knit stockinette
