Andrea Rangel's Eple are a pair of top-down socks with stranded color work pattern and duplicate stitch embellishment. Heel is worked by creating a heel flap and turning the heel using short row shaping. The toe is grafted together using Kitchener stitch. Socks should be worn with 0-1 in/0-2.5 cm negative ease; choose the size 0-1 in/0-2.5 cm smaller than desired foot circumference.

Shown in Hazel Knits Artisan Sock (90% Merino, 10% Nylon; 400yd/365m per 120g skein);
Main Color: Sedge, 1 skein;
Contrast Color 1: Braeburn, 1 skein
Contrast Color 2: Electrolyte
Contrast Color 3: Fudge
Needle sizes are recommendations only. Always use needle size necessary to obtain gauge. Use double pointed needles, 32in or longer circular needle for magic loop method or 2 circular needles; use your pre- ferred small-circumference circular knitting method.
