Koi Rama by Kitman Figueroa is a bottom up
lace shawl and the pattern is written in 2 sizes, medium and large. Kitman
explains how she named this lovely shawl..."Koi
Rama is the name I give to the shawl and
just like what we see from the photo, a koi fish and a butterfly! Rama-rama
means Butterfly in Malay."
It is actually a soft rounded shawl instead of a triangular
shawl. It is a very interesting knit and you just may learn some new
stitches with this pattern at the RS and WS. The patterns also includes
optional bead placement! Koi Rama knits up beautifully in either of Madelinetosh's fingering weight yarns Tosh Sock or Tosh Merino Light.
