Narnia by Lily Go is a triangular shawl
worked from the top down. Lily shares the story of her design process..."This
shawl was quite challenging for me as I learned new stitches that were quite a
handful to do. This shawl is all about texture. It reminds me of the wood
carving in my grandparents’ wardrobe, I always imagined that wardrobe was the
same wardrobe in the The Chronicles of Narnia story."
The model is knit in a worsted weight yarn which makes the
texture pop and as a result, not only is this shawl beautiful but it is very
functional. The pattern can also be worked in a fingering or DK weight
yarn. Pattern includes charts, written directions, picture tutorial of how
to make the crochet bind-off and tips on how to make a larger shawl and
calculate the extra yardage.
