Dainty fairy motifs at one end of HeartStrings FiberArts'
scarf transform into flowers at the other end to create the Fairies and
Flowers scarf. Bead embellishment defines the fairy heads and flower
buds. Taking advantage of the natural bias of the lace stitch patterns, a
scalloped edging frames the entire piece.
Finished size: 8" by 64" after blocking; this project is
easily adjusted for other sizes in increments of approximately 2" in width or in
length
Yarn: 375 yards lace weight yarn at approx 250 yards per
ounce
Gauge: 23 stitches and 32 rows = 4 inches over blocked lace
stitch pattern
Suggested needles: US 4 / 3.5 mm
Glass seed beads: 30 g size 6/0 (4 mm diameter)
