There is nothing
simple about Sivia Harding's elaborate, beaded Pheonix Rising Shawl.
Its a variation on the basic top down triangle. A flame-like, textured center
panel makes all the difference. The shawl begins with only a few cast on
stitches at the top and increases quickly with additional back neck shaping.
After the wavy diagonals on the sides morph into textured diamonds, the shawl
finishes with a beautiful beaded edge. A crescent shaped lace scarf with
its heart lace border is as sweet as pie! The scarf consists of a whimsical
beaded heart border, a wide and shallow garter stitch center, and a tubular
edge. Its worked side to side.
