has been around for years. Traditionally it was done on the end of a broomstick
with a crochet hook, while sitting around the wood stove after a hard days work
on the homestead. The Schaefer Yarn Company's version, the Laurel Broomstick
Lace scarf, is written for a size 50 needle instead, but feel free to use a
broomstick if you want to get in touch with your inner homesteader! This scarf
is crocheted with only one hank of Schaefer's Laurel yarn and makes a
great weekend project.
