Jane Thornley's versatile, flattering and cross-seasonal, little vest Sunset Bolero will take you countless places in comfort and style. Wear it over a shirt with jeans for a casual look, over a tank for summer, or with a blouse or turtleneck for fall into winter. Designed to be worn open, it can be knit to hit just above the waist or slightly below and features a chic bolero’s pointed back, which can be eliminated, if desired. The edges are trimmed with a band of thin tape yarn that creates the look of piping when the vest is sewn together. A light pressing alone creates the open v-neck effect.
Choose from a selection of tapes, ribbons, silks or cottons plus a few 'special effect' yarns or head for your stash for the necessary elements to knit up this little garment. Recommended for the Adventurous Advanced Beginner/Intermediate
