Seni Designs' Espiral e-book features 6 lace
shawl patterns, all a joy to knit and wear. Each design includes both
written instructions and charts in an Eco-friendly format and may be knit in a
fingering or sport weight yarns.
The namesake Espiral is a seamless shawl
worked bias in one piece, being easily customizable by simply binding-off when
you achieve the desired size. It has a cool spiral shape; a great texture and a
cute lace detail in the inner edge, both easy and fun to knit and wear.
You may even choose between mainly knit or purl for the one color version or go
to a bicolor shawl which is also explained into pattern. This project works well
with any weight yarn of your choice - be aware that by adding/subtracting rows
you’ll use more or less yarn.
Zig-Zag
is an asymmetrical shawl knitted on the bias in one piece. It has a cool spiral
shape and an architectural look. It’s worked in “true” lace with increases
and decreases on both sides, nevertheless, the zig-zag pattern is fairly simple
and fun, providing a distinctive unisex character.
Enleio combines a plain stockinette section
with a lovely lace edging. It starts with a few stitches that gradually increase
in number and when you achieve the desired length, a knitted-on border is
attached. Knitted in either joyful or more autumnal colors, Enleio,
will surely brighten up any dark day.
Outonal is an unconventional design - also
asymmetrical and seamless, being knitted bias in one piece. The main body is
worked in garter with a lace edging resembling leaves and berries and when you
achieve the desired length, a knitted-on border is attached.
Piu-piu
is an asymmetrical shawl knitted bias in one piece, starting with only a few
stitches on the needles. It has a cute border and attractive lines hence to the
different patterns used; lace, mock cables, textured and elongated stitches.
Even though it was especially designed for beautiful variegated yarns it works
well with solid colors too. Recommended for knitters with some experience
knitting shawls due to the different shape, special stitches and techniques
used.
Olivia is a sweet asymmetrical shawl, the
main body is worked in garter stitch with a lovely lace detail in the inner
edging. As with the others designs of this collection, Olivia
is very flexible and size is easily adjustable – when you achieve the desired
length, simply work the picot bind-off.
