Laura Patterson of Fiber Dreams shares the
evolution of the design for her Lisca
cowl..."When I saw this beautiful tulip stitch I was compelled
to design a cowl using it. I just had to do it. While searching
for the perfect name I came across the Lisca tulip and was
equally smitten. Please forgive me calling it that though the
stitch does not have the flower’s frilly edges. I am certain you
will be able to find a garden of beautiful colors that this cowl
could be knit from."
