Stephanie of Tiny Owl Knits shares the inspiration behind her Fairy Castles For Storing Hooks & Needles..."I have needed a little home for my DPNs and crochet hooks for quite some time.  These fairy castles unroll and keep them all tucked up safely inside.  The roofs are attached with elastic cord, and the front snaps closed with some hefty magnets so they can be popped in a knitting bag for easy travel.  These are knitted & felted."

The mini castle holds up to 5 tapestry & cable needles, the grey castle holds crochet hooks, the brown castle holds DPNs, the crochet castle holds hooks B(1) - K(10.5) and the dpn castle holds needles US 1- 11.  Patterns includes notes on felting and assembly and instructions are given to include 5, 6, or 7" long dpns, and to adjust for more hooks & needles in case you have lots!
