Sivia Harding's Dragonfly Neckpiece and Bracelet are dazzling and unique.   The neckpiece is created in two pieces for a sculptural effect. Two different methods of using beads are used, one for the body, one for the wings and neck cord. The matching bracelet echoes the beading pattern found on the wings of the dragonfly.

Yarn: Fingering or sport weight smooth ribbon or novelty yarn - approx. 90 yds Sample used Elba by Needful Yarns (100% Nylon; 153 yds per 50g ball, color #2166).
Other yarn suggestions: Serpentine by Fonty of France distributed by Russi Sales, Shimmer by South West Trading Company, Opal Lamé by Lang.
Finished Measurements: Finished circumference of neckpiece: approximately 15.5”. Finished circumference of bracelet: approximately 6.25”.
One size fits most as I-cord strands are stretchy. However, if desired, the cord of the neckpiece may be easily lengthened by adding 2 beads for each additional .5” (1 bead for each side of cord). Likewise, the bracelet may be lengthened by adding 3 beads for each additional .5”.
Gauge: 10 rows = 1” over Slip-bead I-cord pattern
Needles: US 4 (3.5mm) wooden double pointed needles, or size to obtain gauge - 2
Materials: Seed beads, size 6/0, in color to contrast with yarn (Bead Color A) - 20
